Mental Health is a key building block to our overall health and well-being.

At Action Total Health we offer standardized Mental Health First Aid programs as well as custom programs to meet your specific needs. This includes courses ranging from a one-hour program to a two-day certification offered in partnership with the Mental Health Commission of Canada.

As Wellness Director, I am committed to understanding client needs and building programs that surpass your expectations, delivered by trained instructors that specialize in your key areas of interest. Whether its our Mental Health Standard program, Youth, or our Workplace Programs, they are all evidence based and designed to address and support the many common issues and challenges facing us today, as well as empower people with strategies to thrive during uncertain times.

    Marian Statham Director of Wellness, BA Psychology, RHN, Certified in Psychological Health & Safety Standards

    Marian’s 20 years management experience in leading global corporations, combined with her background in Psychology, experience in Health & Wellness, and Certification in Psychological Health & Safety Standards in the Workplace positions her to develop and deliver programs that meet clients’ needs.

  • Suzanne Witt-Foley
    Suzanne Witt-Foley Certified MHFA Instructor, Speaker, and Author

    With over 25 years experience in a variety of mental health settings in Ontario and Eastern Canada, Suzanne is one of Ontario’s leading Mental Health First Aid instructors having delivered over 150 Mental Health First Aid events since 2014, and certified close to 3000 participants. Suzanne also served as a community consultant for the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health for over 16 years.

    Lori Veltkamp Certified MHFA Instructor, Master Trainer in ASIST Applied Suicide Intervention

    With 20 years experience in the mental health field, Lori is a certified Mental Health First Aid instructor, Master Trainer in ASIST Applied Suicide Intervention, and has served 13+ years as a Family Support Worker and Public Educator with the Canadian Mental Health Association.

  • Jake Mitchell
    Jake Mitchell Certified MHFA Instructor, RSSW, AMHW, A-EMCA

    As an experienced Mental Health First Aid instructor, his clinical experience as a paramedic combined with being a practicing member of the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers (OCSWSSW) has promoted an open-minded and empathetic, trauma-informed approach to caring for clients.
