Ontario First Aid Kit Requirements Are Changing
Ontario Regulation 1101 kit requirements are now allowing the new CSA (Canadian Standards Association) workplace First Aid Kit standards. These nationally recognized CSA kits are now approved for use in Ontario, removing the need for traditional WSIB-specific kits.

WSIB Regulation 1101 States: “All employers employing more than 1 and fewer than 5 workers in any one shift at a place of employment shall provide and maintain at the place of employment the following “The employer shall ensure that the first aid station is at all times in the charge of a worker who:
a) Is the holder of a valid Emergency First Aid Certificate
b) Works in the immediate vicinity of the box
