Action First Aid now offers fully online training as well as blended first aid training for full certification.

Blended programs combine online learning with in-class instructor led training. Prior to joining us in class to practice your skills, our online learning offers an unprecedented approach to learning CPR/AED training which includes 3D animations, interactive lessons, and live-scenario videos. Our in-class instructors will lead you through what you learned online and ensure you walk away with the practical skills to put what you learned into action.

To book blended learning please contact us.

How your learners take a blended course:

  1. We (or you as the training manager) will send an email via the online platform to activate the learner account.
  2. The learner will then login to onlinetraining.actionfirstaid.ca to access their training dashboard.  Information for login is included in the initial invite email.
  3. Under ‘my courses’ the learner will view all courses they have been invited to.
  4. Learners follow along in the course modules. Modules are meant to be taken sequentially. The full online course must be completed before the in-class component.
  5. Once the online program a digital badge will be awarded to the learner.  This can be found under ‘my certifications’. Learners will show this digital badge to their in-class instructor to confirm they have completed the online portion.
  6. Once the in-class participation is complete, the learner will receive an email with their full Action First Aid certification.
  7. You as the Training Manager will continue to have access to view rosters, learners and certificates in Ready for Action.
